Shaanxi Trucks DeLong X3000 Vehicle CAN Instrument Cluster Display Inaccuracy

**Shaanxi Trucks DeLong X3000 Vehicle CAN Instrument Cluster Display Inaccuracy**

**Fault Symptom**:
The instrument cluster displays deviations, including odometer inaccuracy and discrepancies between the displayed speed and the actual vehicle speed.

**Analysis Process**:
The CAN instrument cluster is compatible with multiple engine types. However, improper configuration for the specific engine installed can lead to display deviations, odometer inaccuracies, and failures such as unresponsive CNG (compressed natural gas) level readings on gas-powered vehicles.

**Inspection Process**:
**CAN Instrument Cluster Configuration Steps**:
1. Turn off the ignition key.
2. Press and hold the **left black button** located below the instrument cluster.
3. Turn the ignition key back on while continuing to hold the left black button.
4. The instrument cluster’s LCD screen will enter **engine selection mode**. Select the engine type currently installed in the vehicle.
5. Press and hold the **right button** for **3 seconds** to confirm the selection.
6. After confirmation, the LCD screen will automatically switch to **odometer K-value input**.
7. Calculate the correct K-value based on the vehicle’s configuration and input it into the instrument cluster (default K-value: **08000**).
8. Press and hold the **right button** again to finalize the settings.

**Note**: Proper K-value calibration is critical to ensure accurate speed and mileage readings. Incorrect values may result in persistent display errors.
